Job Overview

Toshniwal is looking for an experienced and self-driven Service Engineer to handle customer technical support, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of process instrumentation equipment. The candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, understand on-site technical issues, and coordinate with internal teams to provide effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and represent Toshniwal professionally.

- Visit existing client sites to understand applications, identify technical issues, and troubleshoot equipment.

- Handle installation and commissioning of equipment at customer locations.

- Diagnose and resolve technical problems at customer sites and in-house facilities.

- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.

- Prepare technical application reports and documentation to prevent recurring issues.

- Collect customer feedback and performance certificates.

- Track service-related KPIs and ensure timely follow-ups on customer cases.

- Support research activities and new product development.

- Travel extensively across India for customer visits and technical support.





Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines:

- Instrumentation Engineering

- Mechanical Engineering

- Electronics Engineering

- Electrical Engineering

- Chemical Engineering

Required Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 2 years of experience in service engineering, field service, or technical support.

- Basic understanding of engineering principles, engineering physics, and technical concepts.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Positive verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to interact confidently with clients and understand their technical requirements.

- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electronic equipment handling.

- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple service requests and follow-ups.

- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and willing to travel extensively.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience in process instrumentation, industrial equipment, or instrumentation service and maintenance will be preferred.

- Experience in field service, equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting is desirable.

- Candidates must be comfortable with pan-India travel and on-site customer interactions.

Compensation

Salary Budget: Up to 5,00,000 per annum ( 5 LPA), depending on experience and suitability.

Additional Note: An employment bond may be applicable, as per company policy.
