Job Description – Mutual Fund Distribution Executive
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 0–4 Years (freshers with NISM Series V-A may be considered)

Role Summary
We are looking for an Investment Associate to power the "Talk to Expert" feature on Profyt's
new D2C mutual fund app. When an investor requests a callback, you will be the voice they
speak to. You will understand their goals and risk profile, suggest suitable mutual funds,
and help them start investing with confidence. The role suits a NISM V-A certified
professional who enjoys client conversations and wants to grow in the investment space.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle inbound "Talk to Expert" callback requests from app users within defined
turnaround times.
• Conduct preliminary conversations to understand the investor's financial goals,
investment horizon and risk appetite.
• Complete risk profiling and suggest suitable mutual fund schemes based on the
investor's profile.
• Explain mutual fund basics, SIPs, lump sum investments and fund categories in
simple language.
• Guide investors through the app to complete onboarding, KYC and their first SIP or lump sum investment.
• Follow-up with leads to drive conversions, SIP registrations and repeat investments.
• Resolve basic investor queries and coordinate with operations for service issues.
• Maintain accurate call notes, lead status and daily MIS in the CRM.




• Share investor feedback with product and marketing teams to improve the app
experience.
• Follow SEBI and AMFI code of conduct, including suitability, risk disclosures and no
assured-return claims.
Requirements
• NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors) certification is mandatory.
• 1–2 years of experience in mutual fund advisory, distribution, wealth or investor
facing roles preferred.
• Graduate in any discipline; Commerce, Finance or Economics preferred.
• Good understanding of mutual funds, SIPs, fund categories and basic risk profiling.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; Marathi or other regional
languages a plus.
• Comfortable with high-volume calling and working towards conversion targets.
• Customer-first attitude with the ability to build trust over the phone.
• Basic comfort with CRM tools, Excel and digital investment apps.
