Description
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, API development, microservices architecture, database integration, design patterns, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop scalable and reusable Microservices and backend components.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for integration with internal and external systems.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented Java code.
- Work with Java 11/17 or later versions and leverage modern Java features.
- Develop applications using the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Design and implement database solutions using SQL and relational databases.
- Develop efficient database queries, stored procedures, and data-access components as required.
- Implement appropriate authentication and authorization mechanisms for APIs and applications.
- Integrate applications with messaging technologies such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or similar platforms, where required.
- Perform unit and integration testing using tools such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.




- Participate in application design and technical solution discussions.
- Implement appropriate logging, exception handling, monitoring, and error-management mechanisms.
- Work with Git-based source control and branching strategies.
- Support application builds, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and other developers.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and technical discussions.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API development.
- Good understanding of OOP principles, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
- Robust knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience developing scalable and high-performance backend applications.
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, and application troubleshooting.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within distributed development teams.
