Enterprise Architecture Process & Operations Lead

The Enterprise Architecture Process & Operations Lead is responsible for providing the support for the operations of the enterprise architecture practice by collaborating across the business leadership, IT applications, infrastructure, project management portfolio, etc.

The Enterprise Architecture Process & Operations Lead specializes in facilitating the practices of architecture including architecture planning and development (capabilities planning), application & technology portfolio management and solution architecture assurance. You are not expected to be an expert in these areas – you are expected to facilitate and bring the right experts together to drive to completion and outcomes – and being guided by the director of architecture.

What You’ll Do:

- Leader accountable for the design, deployment and effectiveness of global architecture processes including architecture planning and development, portfolio management, architecture assurance and innovation

- Support the design, deployment and effectiveness of architecture processes including architecture planning and development (capabilities planning), application & technology portfolio management and solution architecture assurance

- Collaborate to drive and influence process, tools, data and reporting to enable architecture practices throughout Entegris

- Facilitate the annual application & technology lifecycle plans with associated technical diagrams

- Facilitate the annual Application Communication (logical) diagrams for each major business area

- Participate in the annual Capabilities refresh that is incorporated into the Enterprise Portfolio Management Feasibility process (IT, Digital Transformation)

- Support the Architecture practice by identifying the projects that requires Architecture involvement





- Facilitate Architecture Assurance meetings for projects/ streamline the processes and templates

- Manage the Technology and Architecture Review Board agendas and lining up topics

- Manage the Reference Architecture process (standards and exceptions)

- Build out a scorecard/ metrics to determine overall effectiveness

- Partner with Director of Change Management to build out and share success stories

- Arrange Architecture education/ sharing to showcase innovative technologies

- May include opportunities for solution architecture

- Engage with Technical Architects and technical staff to capture use cases to drive prioritization of architecture engagement

Required Qualifications: ​​​​​​​

- Minimum 5 - 7 years of professional experience that has had exposure to IT applications and/ or IT infrastructure

- An ability to facilitate across a wide spectrum from IT colleagues, senior IT leadership to business stakeholders

- Have familiarity/ basic understanding of Agile/ Kanban/ Lean/ Project Management

- Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents including familiarity with SharePoint/ Teams

- Strong communication skills in English

- Experience working in distributed team environments

- Desire to learn across multiple workstreams

- Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications: ​​​​​​​

- Experience with Enterprise/ Solution Architecture

- Experience with agile development methodologies

- Architecture Specialist

- Associate Tech Lead

- Experience coaching and mentoring software developers

- Experience with CI/CD practices

Technical Skills:





- Experience with an Enterprise Architecture tool, e.g., LeanIX, Ardoq, etc.

- Experience with Jira usage/ configuration

- Web services and REST APIs

- Version control systems (GitHub)

- Security best practices

Soft Skills:

- Team leadership and mentoring

- Cross-cultural communication

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Creating and reviewing documentation

- Ability to communicate technical ideas with non-technical colleagues
