Job Overview

• Role: Regional HR Manager / Regional HR Business Partner (NBFC Sector)

• Reporting To: Head of HR / National HR Manager & Matrix Reporting to Regional Business Head

• Supervises: Branch HR Executives / Cluster HR Coordinators (if applicable)

• Primary Objective: To partner with regional business leaders to fulfill aggressive manpower demands, enhance branch productivity, manage employee relations, and minimize field-level attrition across all regional branches.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

1. High-Volume Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Branch Manning: Partner with Regional/Cluster Managers to track vacancies and maintain 95%+ manning levels across all branches.

• Mass Sourcing: Drive end-to-end recruitment for frontline field roles (Relationship Managers, Loan Officers, Credit Executives, and Collection Agents) utilizing job portals, local consultants, employee referrals, and direct local sourcing.

• Onboarding & Turnaround Time (TAT): Track and optimize hiring TAT, offer-to-joining ratios, and conduct comprehensive induction programs to improve early stickiness.

2. Attrition Management & Retention Strategy

• Field Retention: Analyze regional attrition trends by branch, product vertical, and manager tenure. Design targeted interventions to retain critical performers.

• Early Mortality Control: Mitigate 30-60-90 day employee turnover through regular check-ins, skip-level meetings, and structured goal orientation.

3. Employee Relations & Branch Engagements

• Branch Visits: Conduct regular, structured visits to rural, semi-urban, or urban branches to gather local feedback, address grievances, and assess overall branch morale.

• Conflict & Fraud Investigations: Act as the primary HR investigator for disciplinary issues,



POSH compliance, integrity issues, and financial misconduct/cash fraud cases in collaboration with Internal Audit.

• Motivation Initiatives: Deploy performance-based branch rewards, seasonal celebrations, and regional town halls to keep distributed field teams motivated.

4. Performance & Productivity Management

• Goal Setting & Appraisals: Drive the execution of the annual and mid-year appraisal cycles across the region, ensuring managers establish transparent KPIs/OKRs.

• Incentive Orientation: Educate branch teams on the company’s incentive structures to maximize frontline sales productivity and performance.

5. Compliance, HR Operations & Dashboards

• Local Compliance: Ensure every branch stays up-to-date with region-specific statutory compliance regulations, including the Shops & Establishments Act, Skilled Tax (PT), and Labor Welfare Fund (LWF).

• Payroll Inputs: Monitor attendance metrics, field-log data, unapproved absences, and leave cycles to provide accurate data to the Corporate Payroll team.

• HR MIS & Analytics: Maintain weekly/monthly dashboards tracking recruitment status, headcount, cost-per-hire, and attrition metrics for leadership review.

️ Key Skills & Competencies

• Hard Skills: Proficient with HRMS software, ATS platforms, and advanced MS Excel/PowerPoint for data presentation.

• BFSI Acumen: Deep understanding of the business mechanics governing retail lending products (e.g., Home Loans, Business Loans, Microfinance, Lap, Gold Loans).

• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills to successfully balance business demands from Regional Business Heads while enforcing guidelines from Corporate HR.

• Mobility: High adaptability and readiness to travel extensively across regional territories at short notice.
