- Guide crane operators using standard hand signals and radio communication during lifting operations.
- Assist in the safe lifting, shifting, loading, and unloading of construction materials.
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, rigging teams, and site engineers.
- Ensure that loads are properly secured before lifting, in coordination with the rigger.
- Monitor the lifting area and ensure workers remain clear of suspended loads.
- Check for obstacles, overhead power lines, and other potential hazards before lifting.
- Follow approved lifting plans and site safety procedures.
- Stop lifting operations immediately if any unsafe condition arises.
- Maintain transparent communication with the crane operator throughout the operation.
- Follow all instructions given by the site engineer and safety department.
