Role Description This is a full time, on-site Structural Design Engineer role based in Haldia.

The Structural Design

Engineer will develop and review structural design concepts and detailed drawings for infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, code compliance, and constructability. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing structural analyses, preparing design calculations, collaborating with civil and structural teams, and coordinating with project managers to meet milestones. The role also involves using CAD tools to produce accurate models and drawings, participating in design reviews, and supporting documentation and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Engineering and Structural Analysis for the design and evaluation of infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Civil Engineering knowledge to understand site conditions, materials, and relevant industry codes and standards.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD skills to create, modify, and manage detailed structural drawings and models.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering) from an accredited institution.
- Experience with design codes and standards (such as IS codes or equivalent) and familiarity with construction practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and drawings.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Prior experience in infrastructure or industrial projects and proficiency in structural design software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS) is an advantage.
