About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Software Development Consultant to work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design technical solutions, develop scalable software applications, and improve existing systems. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with clients, product managers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure software applications.
- Evaluate existing systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend architectural improvements.
- Develop backend services, RESTful APIs, and integrations with third-party platforms.
- Participate in architectural discussions and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and development practices.
- Review code, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices in software development.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective, maintainable solutions.
- Work with databases, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, implementation plans, and project estimates.
- Support deployment, production troubleshooting, and ongoing application maintenance.




- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Manage multiple technical assignments while meeting project timelines and quality expectations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–7 years of professional experience in software development, engineering consulting, or technical solution delivery.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or Go.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and distributed applications.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and writing efficient SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience diagnosing application issues, debugging code, and improving system performance.
- Solid communication, analytical reasoning, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and event-driven architectures.




- Experience with Spring Boot, Node.js, Django, or similar application frameworks.
- Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
- Exposure to infrastructure as code, observability, logging, and performance monitoring.
- Experience working in client-facing consulting engagements or delivering solutions across multiple projects.
