Role Description The Shoplifting Annotation role is a full time hybrid position based in the Greater Kolkata Area, with some flexibility for work from home. In this role, the team member will review retail surveillance images and videos and accurately annotate instances of shoplifting-related behavior according to detailed guidelines and project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and labeling objects, actions, and events, applying consistent tagging to relevant frames, and ensuring high-quality, precise annotations that support training of computer vision and behavior-detection models.





The person in this position will collaborate with project leads to clarify labeling criteria, participate in periodic calibration sessions to maintain annotation consistency, and meet productivity and quality targets within set timelines. The role may also involve basic documentation of edge cases, feedback on annotation tools, and coordination with quality assurance staff to improve datasets over time.

- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education in computer science, statistics, criminology, or related fields is considered an advantage.
