Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Saree Designer with a robust understanding of Indian ethnic wear, traditional craftsmanship, and contemporary design aesthetics. The candidate will be responsible for developing innovative saree designs in line with the brand’s identity and collection requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design sarees for seasonal collections, festive wear, bridal wear, and occasion wear.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, colour stories, prints, embroidery, and surface embellishments.
- Create detailed sketches and design presentations for new collections.
- Coordinate with embroidery, printing, weaving, and production teams to ensure design execution.
- Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colour palettes, and market developments.
- Source suitable fabrics, trims, and embellishments as per design requirements.
- Monitor sampling, fittings, quality,



and finishing to ensure design accuracy.
- Collaborate with the design and merchandising teams to meet collection timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Relevant experience in saree design, ethnic wear, or Indian couture.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, embroidery techniques, prints, and traditional craftsmanship.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or CorelDRAW.
- Excellent sketching, colour coordination, and design development skills.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and coordination skills.
- A portfolio showcasing saree designs and ethnic wear collections is preferred.
