About Us
Shahbaz and Associates CPAs provides US tax and accounting services to individuals and businesses. We’re looking for a motivated Tax Associate to join our growing team and support preparation of US federal and state tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare US federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, and corporations
• Gather, review, and organize client financial data and supporting documents
• Prepare individual returns (Form 1040) with related schedules
• Assist with business and corporate returns, including Forms 1065, 1120, and 1120-S
• Work on rental property reporting (Schedule E), including income, expenses, and depreciation




• Coordinate with reviewers and resolve open points or missing information
• Meet deadlines during peak tax season while maintaining accuracy Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred)
• At least one full season of hands-on US tax preparation experience
• Basic understanding of Individual (1040), Partnership (1065), and Corporate (1120 / 1120-S) returns
• Good attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Clear written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to work under deadlines during tax season Preferred (Added Advantage)
• Experience preparing rental property returns (Schedule E)
• Working knowledge of CCH software (CCH Axcess / CCH ProSystem fx)
