About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the overall pharmacy operations within a hospital/clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately dispense prescribed medications and verify dosage, interactions, and contraindications
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, and inventory of pharmaceutical stock
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and precautions
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for prescription clarifications and patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, hospital protocols, and drug safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, prescriptions, and controlled substances
- Monitor expiry dates and manage stock rotation to minimize wastage




- Assist in procurement and vendor coordination for medical supplies
- Support audits and ensure adherence to statutory/legal pharmacy requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, D.Pharm) from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital, clinic, or retail pharmacy setting
- Valid pharmacist registration/license as per state pharmacy council requirements
- Robust knowledge of drug interactions, dosage calculations, and pharmacy software/inventory systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
- Good communication skills for patient counseling and team coordination
- Ability to work in shifts, if required

Preferred Attributes

- Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or pharmacy management systems
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient safety
