Siemens Digital Industries Software
Bengaluru
Company Overview
Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Partner Development Director – Technical Enablement to build and scale the technical capabilities of our partner ecosystem across Asia Pacific. In this role, you will design and deliver structured technical enablement programmes that transform partner presales and technical teams into confident advocates and implementers of Siemens X-solutions, including Intelligence Center X and the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio (PLM, MES, low-code, AI/ML, and knowledge-graph capabilities). You will drive partner technical readiness, certification, and competency building while collaborating across global teams to ensure partners can independently demonstrate, architect, and support Siemens solutions.
This is a high-impact individual-contributor role that blends deep technical expertise with robust training, communication, and partner-facing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute structured technical enablement curricula (workshops, virtual and in-person training, certification paths, and hands-on labs) focused on Intelligence Center X, Mendix development, Graph Studio, AI Studio, and integration with Teamcenter and Opcenter.
- Deliver high-energy, practical training sessions that build partner confidence in solution demonstrations, architecture design, proof-of-concept development, and competitive positioning.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive library of enablement assets: demonstration scripts, solution guides, technical FAQs, battle cards, reference architectures, starter kits, and best-practice playbooks.
- Assess partner technical maturity and develop tailored enablement plans to close capability gaps in AI/ML, low-code development, knowledge graphs, PLM, and MES.
- Support partners through the full technical journey from foundational product knowledge to advanced solution architecture, demo proficiency, and delivery readiness.
- Drive certification and accreditation programmes to ensure partners achieve and maintain required technical levels for Intelligence Center X and Xcelerator solutions.
- Collaborate with global partner GTM teams, product management, technical SMEs, marketing, and enablement teams to translate complex industrial AI and low-code capabilities into clear, partner-ready materials.
- Leverage global scalable enablement mechanisms (self-paced learning paths, recorded sessions, sandbox environments, partner portals) for the multi-country APAC ecosystem.
- Capture field feedback and deployment learnings to continuously refine training content, demonstration assets, and solution packages.
- Measure enablement effectiveness through partner feedback, certification rates, demo quality, and contribution to pipeline and deal success.
- Work with Partner Development and sales teams to ensure newly recruited partners receive rapid,
high-quality technical ramp-up.
- Represent technical enablement at partner events, regional workshops, and internal planning sessions.
- Contribute to APAC partner strategy by providing insights on technical capability gaps, competitive positioning, and enablement priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 8–12+ years of experience in technical enablement, technical training, solution consulting, pre-sales engineering, or partner technical roles within enterprise or industrial software.
- Proven track record designing and delivering technical training programmes with high participant satisfaction and measurable competency uplift.
- Strong hands-on domain expertise in at least three of the following: Teamcenter X, AI/Machine Learning platforms, low-code/agentic application development (Mendix preferred), knowledge graphs and ontologies, PLM, or MES.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and training delivery skills (virtual and in-person).
- Cross-cultural communication skills and comfort working across diverse Asian markets.
