About the role

The MIS & Finance Executive will support the organization's financial reporting, management information systems (MIS), budgeting processes, donor reporting, and data analysis. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to transform financial and operational data into meaningful reports that support decision-making across programs and functions.

Key Responsibilities

Management Information Systems (MIS)

- Prepare and maintain monthly MIS reports for management review.
- Develop and update dashboards for program, finance, and operational performance.
- Consolidate data from multiple departments and regional offices.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of MIS reports.
- Generate periodic reports for senior management, trustees, and leadership teams.
- Analyze trends and provide actionable insights based on financial and program data.
- Maintain reporting templates and improve reporting processes through automation.

Finance & Reporting

- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Track budget utilization across programs, projects, and cost centers.




- Prepare variance analysis reports comparing budget versus actual expenditure.
- Support donor financial reporting and grant utilization tracking.
- Assist in preparing fund-wise, project-wise, and location-wise expenditure reports.
- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and donor audits through data compilation and analysis.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in MIS, financial reporting, business analytics, or finance operations.
- Experience in the development sector/NGO sector will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards).
- Robust analytical and financial reporting skills.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
