Client & Project: We are seeking a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the project SAM_India Ops. The client is Cross Client, a company that provides diverse services across multiple industries, focusing on delivering tailored solutions to meet complex business needs.

Experience Required

5 years of Microsoft licensing experience, including creating full Effective License Positions

Strong skills and has deep expertise in:

- Using and interpreting Microsoft’s current and past Product Terms
- Managing Microsoft’s many licensing agreements, including Select Plus, Enterprise, and MPSA, with deep expertise in how to approach and complete renewals for these agreements
- Navigating Microsoft’s portals (Azure, M365, Visual Studio, etc) and read usage reports from these portals
- Licensing Microsoft products deployed both on-prem and in cloud, with knowledge of BYOL requirements for different cloud providers




- Understanding virtual technology terms, reports, and set-up to create overviews of server software deployment
- Reading and interpreting Contracts, MLS and CPS reports, beyond the overviews, to create detailed entitlement summaries
- Create detailed license usage reports by analyzing entitlement reports and comparing the total available entitlement to software deployment data

Ability to seamlessly work on a global, cross-functional team located in different time zones

Solid communication skills

Extensive experience in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel

Nice to Have

Experience working with and configuring different Industry SAM Tools like Flexera or ServiceNow

Audit support experience

Contract negotiation experience

Licensing knowledge of other publishers, including Adobe, IBM, Oracle, SAP, and m
