Katyayani Organics is a Bhopal-based agri-inputs company that sells crop protection and crop nutrition products directly to farmers and retailers across India through our app, website and calling teams. Behind this are our technology, product, marketing and finance teams, and we are hiring an HR Business Partner to help these teams grow, perform and stay.

About the role

You will be the HR partner for our corporate functions: Technology, Product, Marketing, and Accounts & Finance. You will work closely with each function head to plan teams, hire well, set clear expectations, build career paths and keep our best people. This role suits someone who can earn the trust of engineers, marketers and finance professionals alike.

What you will do

- Work with function heads on team structure, role definitions and hiring plans, and give clear requirements to the Talent Acquisition team
- Benchmark salaries against the market and give input on offers, increments and retention decisions
- Set up KRAs and KPIs for corporate roles, including roles where output is hard to measure
- Run the performance review cycle for your functions and make sure reviews are completed on time and acted on
- Build career paths and promotion criteria for technical and non-technical roles




- Identify key talent and flight risks early, and lead retention conversations with managers
- Coach managers on feedback, performance conversations and team issues
- Handle employee concerns, grievances and policy matters within your functions
- Run engagement initiatives that matter to a knowledge workforce: learning, recognition and growth
- Share a monthly people dashboard with leadership: headcount, attrition, open roles, review status and engagement

What we are looking for

- 4 to 8 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years as an HRBP for technology, product or corporate teams
- Experience in a startup, tech company or fast-growing consumer business
- Working understanding of tech and product roles, enough to judge positive performance and hold credible conversations with engineering leaders
- Experience with salary benchmarking, performance review cycles and career frameworks
- Strong judgement, discretion and communication skills
- Fluent in English and Hindi
- MBA or PG in HR preferred
