About the Opportunity

We are launching a U.S.-focused offshore staffing company that will provide dedicated, highly qualified remote employees in India to American businesses.

Our initial focus will be the e-commerce fulfillment and third-party logistics (3PL) industry, with the potential to expand into other industries as the business grows.

Our founder has extensive experience owning and operating a U.S.-based 3PL company and managing remote employees in India. We are now looking for an experienced staffing industry professional to help establish, operate, and scale this new venture.

This is a founding leadership opportunity for someone who wants to help build a company from the ground up rather than simply manage an existing team.

Compensation: ₹12–18 LPA fixed annual CTC, including base salary and applicable allowances; performance-based bonus is additional.

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial Founding Head of Operations who has experience in offshore staffing, staff augmentation, recruitment operations, or BPO management.

The ideal candidate understands the business of providing dedicated India-based employees to U.S. clients, including recruitment, employee management, payroll coordination, client onboarding, operational processes, and profitability.

You will work directly with the U.S.-based founder to establish the company's India operations, build the initial team, and develop the systems necessary for sustainable growth.

Our business model is staff augmentation, not traditional managed BPO. Our U.S. clients will directly supervise their dedicated employees and manage day-to-day work. Our company will be responsible for recruiting, employing, supporting, and retaining those employees.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Setup & Operations

- Help establish and launch the company's India operations.
- Develop standard operating procedures, workflows, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with legal, accounting, and compliance professionals regarding employment, payroll, and company administration.
- Evaluate remote-first operations and future office requirements.
- Establish systems for employee onboarding, attendance, leave, performance documentation, and HR administration.

2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

- Develop a reliable recruitment process for sourcing qualified India-based employees.
- Recruit customer service representatives, account coordinators, inventory specialists, administrative personnel, and other positions requested by U.S. clients.

- Conduct interviews, evaluate English communication skills, and assess candidate qualifications.
- Build a pipeline of candidates to support new client placements.
- Establish hiring timelines, screening standards, and replacement procedures.

3. Employee Management & Retention

- Oversee employee HR administration and internal support.
- Coordinate payroll, benefits, attendance, leave, and employee documentation.
- Address employee concerns and help resolve staffing-related issues.
- Develop retention strategies and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure employees have appropriate equipment, connectivity, and working environments.

4. U.S. Client Coordination

- Support the founder during client onboarding and staffing requirements discussions.
- Translate client requirements into candidate profiles and recruitment plans.
- Coordinate interviews between U.S. clients and prospective employees.
- Ensure smooth employee placements and ongoing communication.
- Handle staffing-related concerns, employee replacements, and escalations.

5. Financial & Operational Performance

- Help establish employee compensation bands and staffing cost models.
- Monitor recruitment costs, employee utilization, retention, and operational overhead.
- Support pricing decisions and ensure placements meet profitability targets.
- Develop reporting on hiring timelines, client placements, turnover, and staffing performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency as the company scales.

6. Business Growth & Scaling

- Help develop a scalable operating structure capable of supporting an increasing number of dedicated employees.
- Identify staffing industry best practices and competitive advantages.
- Assist with hiring internal recruiters and HR personnel as needed.
- Help build a professional, reliable company culture.
- Work closely with the founder on strategic decisions and long-term growth.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in offshore staffing, staff augmentation, RPO, or BPO operations.
- At least 2 years in an operations management or leadership position.
- Experience managing recruitment,

employee operations, and client relationships.
- Strong understanding of the Indian staffing industry and employment practices.
- Experience supporting U.S.-based clients or managing teams working U.S. business hours.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
- Comfortable working in an early-stage company with evolving processes.

Strongly Preferred

- Previous experience helping launch or scale an offshore staffing company.
- Experience in a staffing agency providing dedicated employees to U.S. businesses.
- Knowledge of staffing pricing, gross margins, recruitment economics, and employee retention.
- Existing recruitment networks in Noida, Delhi NCR, or surrounding regions.
- Experience establishing internal HR, recruitment, and operational infrastructure.
- Background in logistics, e-commerce, fulfillment, or supply chain staffing.

What We're Looking For We are looking for a business-minded operator, not simply an employee supervisor.

The ideal person:

- Understands how an offshore staffing company makes money.
- Can identify operational problems before they become serious.
- Knows how to recruit and retain quality employees.
- Is comfortable taking ownership of projects and making recommendations.
- Has the judgment to help a founder make important business decisions.
- Wants to grow into a long-term senior leadership position as the company expands.

What We Offer

- Opportunity to help build a company from its earliest stages.
- Direct working relationship with a U.S.-based founder.
- Significant influence over operational strategy and company development.
- Competitive compensation based on experience.
- Performance-based incentives.
- Prospect for increased leadership responsibilities as the company grows.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume along with a brief explanation of your experience in the offshore staffing industry.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can explain:

1. The number of employees or client accounts they have previously managed.
2. Their involvement in building or scaling staffing operations.
3. Their experience with U.S. clients and dedicated staffing models.
4. Their experience with recruitment, employee retention, and staffing profitability.
5. What they would prioritize during the first 90 days of launching a new offshore staffing company.
