Position: Manager, Finance & Accounts (Head of Department role)

Company: Svenska Design Hotels, a European chain of boutique hotels from Sweden

Location: Upscale Boutique Hotel in Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri West, Mumbai

Salary: Rs. 6.00 to Rs.10.00 lakhs per annum (as per experience & background)

Qualifications: Finance/ accounts degree required (MBA/ CFA/ CA/ Inter/ MCom/ BCom)

Experience: Min. 10 years experience in accounts essential

Sector: Hotels/ Hospitality industry experience essential

Head of Department Responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of hotel financial operations, including receivables, payables, and bank reconciliations
- Record and maintain accurate accounting entries in compliance with established policies and procedures
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets,



and forecasts
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting and compliance with tax regulations (GST, TDS)
- Optimise financial processes and controls in the finance & accounting department
- Handle financial audits and liaise with auditors
- Maintain and improve internal controls and financial data integrity
- Provide financial insights and support for decision-making processes
