Role Description The Distributor Sales Specialist is a part-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for managing and growing relationships with local and regional distributors. Daily activities include visiting distributor locations, presenting product lines, tracking orders, and following up on leads to support sales targets. The role involves coordinating promotions, monitoring stock levels, supporting merchandising initiatives, and providing prompt responses to distributor inquiries.

Specialist collaborates closely with internal sales and operations teams to ensure accurate pricing, timely deliveries, and high service standards.



This position requires regular reporting on distributor performance, identifying new business opportunities, and sharing market feedback to support overall sales strategy.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales and Sales Management skills to drive distributor growth and achieve sales objectives.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to maintain positive relationships and handle distributor needs professionally.
- Candidates should possess Account Management skills to oversee distributor accounts, track performance, and manage ongoing activities.
- Basic knowledge of FMCG or food and beverage distribution, with experience in field sales or channel sales, is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, travel locally to distributor locations, and manage time effectively in a part-time schedule.
- Comfort with using spreadsheets or CRM tools for tracking sales data and preparing simple reports.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
