Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sterilization Technician role based in Delhi, India.

The Sterilization

Technician will be responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, packaging, and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment according to established protocols and standards. The role includes operating and monitoring sterilization devices, maintaining accurate records of sterilization cycles, and ensuring proper storage and rotation of sterile supplies. The technician will collaborate with operating room and clinical teams to meet daily instrument needs, support infection control practices,



and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.

The position requires consistent adherence to regulatory and hospital guidelines to support a safe and efficient care environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess expertise in decontamination and sterilization processes, including cleaning, disinfection, and operation of sterilization equipment.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of infection control practices and standards relevant to sterile processing and healthcare environments.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with operating room procedures and workflows to support timely availability of sterile instruments and supplies.
- Candidates should possess understanding of basic medical terminology to accurately interpret instrument lists, procedure requirements, and documentation.
- Relevant technical training or certification in sterile processing, central sterile services, or a related healthcare support discipline is preferred.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow standard operating procedures, and commitment to safety and quality are essential.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare facility, particularly in Central Sterile Supply Department or similar function, will be an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing workload demands.
