Job Title Production Supervisor (or Manufacturing Supervisor) Position Summary The Production Supervisor manages the daily activities of the production floor to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient manufacturing. This role coordinates shift schedules, allocates manpower, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), and enforces quality and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities

- Operations & Scheduling: Plan, organize, and execute daily and weekly production schedules to meet delivery and volume targets.

- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate production staff; manage attendance, shifts, and daily task assignments.

- Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety guidelines (such as OSHA or local standards), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Positive Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

- Quality Control: Monitor production outputs against specifications to minimize waste, defects,



and rework.

- Equipment & Maintenance: Coordinate routine machine checks, report equipment malfunctions, and assist with preventive maintenance programs.

- Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement: Troubleshoot floor issues, identify bottlenecks, and support Lean/Kaizen or 5S improvement initiatives.

- Reporting: Maintain production logs, shift reports, inventory records, and KPI trackers for senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Plastics/CIPET) preferred.

- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on manufacturing or industrial experience, with at least 1–3 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.

- Technical Skills: Familiarity with manufacturing machinery, basic inventory/ERP software, and MS Office (Excel/Word). Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma is an advantage.

- Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
