Kumaraguru Institutions invites applications from experienced academic leaders to lead Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture, Erode, and advance its teaching, research, agricultural extension and institutional development.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide academic and administrative leadership, ensuring effective curriculum delivery, quality improvement and regulatory compliance.

- Mentor students beyond academics, supporting their aspirations, career pathways and entrepreneurial initiatives.

- Develop faculty capabilities and strengthen their engagement in teaching, research and outreach.

- Lead farm development and management, integrating practical learning, research and demonstration activities.

- Strengthen farmer training through agricultural extension and advisory services.

- Build institutional partnerships with agricultural universities, government agencies, industry and farming communities.





Qualification & Experience
- A graduate degree in Agriculture or an allied discipline from a State Agricultural University or an ICAR institution, with a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

- Candidates must be serving or retired Professors from the State Agricultural University system.

- A minimum of 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in teaching and 3 years in an administrative role.

Preferred Leadership Experience
- Demonstrated contributions to student mentoring, faculty development and institutional partnerships.

- Exposure to entrepreneurship development, farm management and farmer outreach.

- Familiarity with the ICAR and TNAU educational ecosystem.
