Position Name – Compliance Officer

Location - Gift city

Experience Range – 5+ years

Mandatory Requirement:

- 5+ years of experience in Alternate Investment Fund regulations

- CS or CA

- Minimum 4+ years of post-CS membership experience

- Experience in dealing with foreign law firms

- Should be equipped to do research under SEBI AIF Regulations, FEMA, regulations

Our client is an early-stage fund investing in three areas - Consumer Brands, Consumer Technology, and Fintech.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

- Investor onboarding (Documentation preparation, signing, KYC)

- Various SEBI, Gift city and RBI compliances relating to investors (AML/ CFT, CKYC etc)





- Support in the fund raise process

- Build relationship with Gift regulators and ensure regulatory compliance, inspection management

- Support LP management

- Any other ancillary functions

MMust have:

- Investor compliance experience

- SEBI & RBI compliance

- Investor onboarding experience

- Meets gift city compliance officer criteria

- Well-spoken and be able to liaison with Investors

- Well spoken and be able to liaison with Regulators

- Experience in regulator management

- Should be ok to work in Gift city office independently and individually

- Travel to Bangalore office periodic intervals

Other Details:

- LLB degree will be an added advantage

- Positive communication skills – Oral & Written and interaction skills
