Role Description The Article Assistant will support the firm’s chartered accountants in executing assignments related to taxation, audit and assurance, accounting, and regulatory compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing and reviewing working papers, maintaining books of accounts, and supporting tax computation and filing. The role also involves gathering and organizing client information, drafting basic reports and documentation, and coordinating with clients under supervision to clarify queries and collect data.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South,



requiring regular office attendance and occasional client visits as part of training and professional development.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic taxation concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in audit support activities, including documentation, vouching, reconciliations, and working paper preparation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools, along with the ability to learn accounting and tax software.
- Candidates should possess robust analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Enrollment in or completion of CA Inter (or equivalent professional course) and eligibility for articleship training will be considered an advantage.
- Candidates should possess a commitment to ethical conduct, professional discipline, and willingness to learn and adapt to regulatory changes.
