Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Articled Assistant role based in Pune.

The Articled

Assistant will support audit and assurance assignments, including vouching, verifying financial records, and assisting in preparation of working papers. The role involves helping with bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, and basic tax computations and filings under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day tasks include documentation, data analysis in spreadsheets, maintaining client files, and coordinating with clients to obtain required information.



The position provides hands-on experience aligned with professional training requirements and opportunities to learn statutory, tax, and internal audit processes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting principles and basic knowledge of auditing and taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and general office productivity tools for data analysis and documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and professional correspondence.
- Attention to detail, ability to work with numbers accurately, and sound analytical skills.
- Capability to follow professional standards, work ethically, and maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Ability to work under supervision, manage time effectively, and meet assignment deadlines.
- Enrollment as an Article trainee under ICAI (or eligibility to register) and ongoing CA studies preferred.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to firm procedures, and take initiative in assigned tasks.
