Role Description The Accountant role is a full time, in office position based in Borivali. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with monthly and annual closing, and supporting budget preparation and financial reporting. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, as well as coordinating with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders as needed.



The Accountant will also help optimize financial processes and provide data-driven insights to support management decisions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control to support decision-making and efficient resource allocation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, along with solid numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant tax laws, compliance requirements, and basic familiarity with pharmaceutical or healthcare industry regulations (preferred).
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; skilled certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
