Reddit Account Manager
We run Reddit campaigns for brands. Real, vetted Redditors post and comment about brands in the communities where their buyers already ask for recommendations. Reddit is where people go for honest, anonymous reviews, Reddit threads rank in Google, and AI answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google cite them. Reddit also punishes anything that smells like promotion. Getting that balance right is the whole job.
Brands work with us two ways. Self-serve brands approve drafts and get matched with Redditors. Managed brands hand it to us: we write the posts, pick the subreddits, run a branded subreddit for them and track keyword mentions.
We launched in September and are growing fast. Until now one person has done both the selling and the running. We want you to own the running, so the selling can scale.
The role
Run campaigns end to endWrite posts and comments that start real conversations, pick the subreddits by how active they are rather than how big, get every draft approved by the client, and get it live. Most posts should never mention the brand at all. You know why.
Run branded subredditsSeveral posts a week per client sub, moderation, and keeping the sub alive and useful instead of a brochure.
Look after our RedditorsVet new Redditors who apply, answer their questions on Discord, keep them active and make sure every placement is done properly and paid on time.
Onboard brandsWhen a brand signs up, make sure they actually launch: walk them through the platform, help with their first drafts, and follow up when they stall.
Report in numbersViews, upvotes, comments, removals and subreddit traffic, per client, every week. Spot a post that is going wrong before the client does.
Start with our own campaignsYou will first run Reddit campaigns for other 8x products, so you learn the craft on us before you run it for clients. Mistakes there are cheap. Mistakes on a client campaign are not.
Grow with the teamOnce Reddit runs smoothly,
you can take on operations for 8x Sales, our managed cold calling team, too: reviewing callers, listening to calls and helping train them.
You An avid RedditorThis is the one thing we will not compromise on. You are on Reddit every day because you want to be, not because a job asked you to. You have subreddits you are a regular in, you know the in-jokes and the unwritten rules, and you can tell an ad from a real post in one line. Moderation experience is a robust plus.
A writerYou can write a post in the voice of a community, not a marketing team. Short, specific, human.
Organised at volumeSeveral clients, dozens of posts, a community of Redditors and a queue of sign-ups, without dropping anything.
Calm with peopleClients who want their brand name in every post, Redditors with questions at midnight, a mod who removed something. You handle all of it politely and quickly.
Owner, not assistantYou do not wait to be told. If a campaign is slow, you already have a fix ready.
AI-native, with tasteYou use AI to research and draft faster, and you can tell when the output reads like AI. Reddit can too.
Fluent in written EnglishMost of our campaigns run in English. Spanish or another language is a plus.
What is hard about this jobOne lazy post can get a client's brand mocked in a thread that ranks on Google for years. You will be the one making sure that does not happen, across several clients at once, while the product is still being built and the process changes every week. If that sounds like a reason not to apply, this is probably not your role.
Before you apply
- If you do not already use Reddit every day, this role is not for you.
- AI-written applications are disqualified immediately. Write to us yourself.
- Link your main Reddit account. We will look at your history, not just your karma.
- Tell us about a post or comment of yours that did well, and why you think it worked.
- The assignment ends with a short video pitching yourself. Show us who you are.
