Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Product Engineer with 7–11 years of software engineering experience to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate should bring strong full-stack engineering expertise across Python/Node.js, REST APIs, microservices, modern JavaScript frameworks, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. The role will also require strong engineering design capabilities, hands-on development, technical leadership, code reviews, and ownership across the product development lifecycle.

Requirements for the Role:-

- 7–11 years of experience in software/product engineering with strong hands-on development expertise.
- Strong experience building scalable and secure web applications, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as Python and/or Node.js; exposure to Golang or Rust is an advantage.
- Strong front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript ES6/ES7, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of OOAD, SOLID principles, design patterns, clean coding, and application architecture.
- Experience designing application databases, including ER diagrams, data flows, and API interactions.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools such as Terraform and CloudWatch.
- Strong working knowledge of GitHub/Azure DevOps, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes.
- Experience integrating authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML.
- Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum engineering practices and tools such as JIRA/Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication,



and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engineering priorities in a fast-paced product environment.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude to improve development productivity and code quality is desirable.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead the technical design and development of scalable enterprise applications and product capabilities.
- Own the design and implementation of REST APIs, backend services, microservices, and application integrations.
- Drive architecture and design decisions with an emphasis on scalability, security, performance, maintainability, and reliability.
- Build and guide the development of responsive, reusable, and maintainable front-end components.
- Lead application database design and ensure appropriate data models and integration patterns.
- Provide technical leadership and engineering guidance to developers while remaining hands-on with development.
- Drive code quality through design reviews, code reviews, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, designers, and engineering stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in the complete product lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Optimize applications and services for performance and scalability.
- Establish and improve automated testing, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment practices.
- Drive effective adoption of CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud-native engineering practices.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and engineering bottlenecks and drive them toward resolution.
- Mentor engineers and help strengthen engineering practices across the team.
- Champion AI-assisted software-development workflows using tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot, including reusable development skills and agents where relevant.
