Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering (Electrical or Electronics background is an added advantage for this role) Experience
• Engineer: minimum 3 years of sourcing / purchase experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in an aerospace, defence or space industry supply chain is mandatory; AS9100 certified organisation preferred.
• Demonstrated hands-on exposure to imported catalogue parts, franchised distributor channels and long-lead connector and cable procurement. Specialist Technical Requirements – Cots And Standard Parts

Key Responsibilities
• Float RFQs to OEMs, franchised distributors and approved sources; obtain quotations, prepare comparison statements and recommend the source.




• SAP with correct part number, dash number, revision, specification and packaging requirements.
• Prepare landed-cost workings for assigned part families under the guidance of the Senior Engineer.
• Verify Certificate of Conformance, OEM traceability, date code, batch and shelf-life data at receipt; hand over documentation to Quality and Stores.
• Track materials changes, get ECO approval
• Maintain supplier master data, price history, lead-time database and part cross-reference records in SAP.
• Source prototype and first-article COTS parts for NPD / APQP projects as per project timelines General Requirements
