The Role Your role We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in Banking and Financial Services to design, build and maintain scalable end-to-end data pipelines and enterprise data solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise in DataIKU, Snowflake, DBT, Python, SQL/PLSQL, ETL/ELT, Oracle, ODI, data warehousing and data integration, combined with practical experience working with complex banking datasets. The candidate should have exposure to Risk, Regulatory and Financial Reporting data, including data quality, reconciliation, transformation and lineage across upstream and downstream systems. Experience with TWS scheduling and Business reporting is an added advantage. What you will do
• Design, develop, and support scalable enterprise data engineering solutions and data platforms.
• Administer, configure, maintain, and upgrade DataIKU DSS environments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production.
• Manage DataIKU platform health, capacity planning, and system performance monitoring.
• Perform DataIKU installation, patching, version upgrades, and platform migrations.
• Configure and maintain DSS nodes, automation nodes, API nodes, and design nodes.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery processes, and business continuity plans.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and provide L2/L3 support.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Data IKU and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Develop robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, consistency, and audit readiness across data ecosystems.
• Design and develop Oracle database solutions, including complex data processing and integration components.
• Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages, including performance tuning.
• Identify and resolve database and data-processing performance bottlenecks to improve scalability and reliability.
• Design and enhance RFO Master and Satellite data models, including Master Data and Satellite layer integrations.
• Support enterprise data warehouse modernization and Risk, Finance, and Regulatory Reporting platforms.
• Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot batch failures and data/reporting issues, perform RCA, and ensure SLA adherence.




• Develop automation using Python and Shell Scripting for batch scheduling, monitoring, data validation, reconciliation, and operational reporting.
• Collaborate with Business, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Regulatory, and Technology stakeholders, translate requirements into technical solutions, participate in solution design, and mentor junior team members. Required Technical and Professional Experience
• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle, SQL, ODI, and SAP BODS.
• proficiency in Dataiku, SQL/PLSQL, Snowflake, DBT, Python, and TWS, with extensive experience in Banking & Regulatory domains including Risk Data Management, Regulatory Reporting, Data Governance, and Financial Reporting.
• Familiar Azure Cloud, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Jira, ServiceNow, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Design and develop complex Oracle database solutions.
• Create and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and performance tuning solutions.
• Analyze and resolve query performance bottlenecks.
• Support data extraction, transformation, and reporting initiatives.
• Proven experience in production support, incident management, and data operations.
• Ability to work with global stakeholders across Business, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Proven experience in production support, incident management, and data operations.
• Experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT Development, Data Integration, Data Modeling, and Data Quality & Reconciliation.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience leading offshore/onshore delivery teams is highly desirable.
