We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer – Node.js to join our technology team in Chennai. If you are passionate about building scalable backend systems, distributed architectures, and high-performance applications, we would like to hear from you. Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications using event-driven architecture and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, asynchronous programming, microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems, with experience developing reliable and high-performance backend services. Exposure to knowledge embeddings, vectorization, and AI/data-driven systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
• Build and optimize event-driven and distributed systems for high performance and reliability.
• Develop asynchronous workflows using message queues, event streaming, and pub/sub architectures.
• Design and implement scalable and secure RESTful APIs.
• Work with microservices and distributed system architectures.
• Develop efficient database solutions and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to define and deliver backend solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve application performance, scalability,



and reliability.
• Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and engineering best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications
• 3–6 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Node.js.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and non-blocking I/O.
• Robust knowledge of asynchronous programming patterns.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience in RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application environments.
• Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices. Good to Have
• Experience with knowledge embeddings and vectorization techniques.
• Familiarity with vector databases or graph databases, such as:
• Pinecone
• Neo4j
• Memgraph
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled applications or data-driven systems.
• Experience with messaging technologies and event streaming platforms.
