Senior SAP BRIM Developer (SOM, CI, CC, FI-CA) Summary This role is dedicated to the comprehensive design, development, and maintenance of technical solutions within the SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) ecosystem. The successful candidate will serve as a key technical resource, driving the implementation of robust systems across Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Invoicing (CI), Convergent Charging (CC), and Financial Contract Accounting (FI-CA). The position is pivotal in translating complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance technical architectures that support diverse billing models, including subscription and usage-based structures. By fostering collaboration with architects, functional teams, and business stakeholders, this role ensures the delivery of secure, efficient, and innovative billing solutions that align with enterprise strategic goals.

Pan India Responsibilities
• Architect, build, refine, and sustain technical implementations for SAP BRIM modules, encompassing SOM, CI, CC, and FI-CA.
• Engineer bespoke enhancements, data interfaces, automated workflows, document templates, and application programming interfaces (APIs) to streamline revenue management and billing operations.
• Convert functional and business specifications into robust, scalable technical frameworks.
• Facilitate the execution of subscription and consumption-based billing strategies.
• Enhance and maintain Subscription Order Management (SOM) workflows and system integrations.
• Oversee the full subscription lifecycle, including order intake, contract amendments, fulfillment coordination, and management workflows.
• Build APIs and integrations to enable seamless order orchestration and provisioning.
• Configure and customize charging and rating mechanisms within the Convergent Charging (CC) module.
• Manage usage-based billing logic, rating algorithms, mediation connections, and pricing frameworks.
• Improve system performance to handle high-volume transaction loads efficiently.
• Develop and maintain invoicing, billing consolidation, and financial posting capabilities for Convergent Invoicing (CI).
• Refine invoice production, formatting, reconciliation processes, and billing connectivity.
• Implement custom billing workflows and automate invoicing tasks.
• Provide technical support for SAP FICA solutions covering customer account setup, payment handling, collections, dunning, financial postings, dispute resolution,



and account reconciliation.
• Ensure smooth integration between SAP FICA and SAP S/4HANA Finance alongside other enterprise systems.
• Construct technical artifacts such as ABAP programs, Business Add-Ins (BADIs), user exits, enhancements, Remote Function Calls (RFCs), OData services, and web services.
• Manage integrations between SAP BRIM, SAP S/4HANA, CRM/CX platforms, middleware solutions, and external payment or billing vendors.
• Partner with integration architects and middleware specialists to design and build interfaces.
• Execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Lead defect analysis, debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues.
• Guarantee the quality, scalability, and operational reliability of all solutions.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization to enhance transaction processing efficiency.
• Manage monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting activities.
• Lead deployment efforts, cutover planning, maintenance windows, and ongoing production support.
• Perform performance tuning specifically for high-volume billing and charging scenarios.
• Produce and update technical documentation, including specifications, interface guides, operational procedures, development standards, and runbooks.
• Enforce compliance with enterprise development standards, security protocols, and governance frameworks.
• Work closely with SAP BRIM architects, functional consultants, data migration specialists, BASIS administrators, infrastructure teams, and business leaders.
• Engage in architectural reviews, technical design workshops, and Agile development ceremonies.
• Offer technical mentorship and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams. Requirements
• Possess a minimum of nine years of experience in SAP technical development.
• Have at least five years of specialized experience in SAP BRIM development.
• Demonstrate a proven track record in supporting enterprise-level billing and revenue management systems.




• Exhibit a deep understanding of subscription and usage-based billing methodologies.
• Show hands-on proficiency in developing and maintaining SAP SOM, CI, CC, and FI-CA components.
• Possess strong ABAP development skills, including expertise in enhancements, user exits, BADIs, APIs, OData services, and workflow integrations.
• Have practical experience with SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA integrations, middleware solutions, API connectivity, and performance tuning.
• Maintain a solid grasp of SAP architecture, billing and invoicing processes, financial integration principles, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Display exceptional analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Show solid software development and debugging competencies.

• Experience with DevOps practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Background in industries such as utilities, telecommunications, transportation, finance, or subscription-based services.
• History of supporting large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
• Prior experience in consulting or as a contractor within enterprise SAP environments. Required Certifications
