Amazon Connect Engineer

Proven enterprise software engineering experience building, debugging, and supporting production systems

Robust proficiency in a up-to-date backend language (Python or Java)

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform

Experience designing and delivering AWS applications, including migrations and cost/performance optimization

Working knowledge of CI/CD and source control (Jenkins/Jules; Git/Bitbucket)

Track record of delivering high-performance, fault-tolerant solutions in complex settings

Database experience across SQL/RDBMS and NoSQL, with solid SDLC and Agile practices

Experience designing and building RESTful APIs

Preferred: AWS Developer and/or Solutions Architect certification A big plus: Amazon Connect/contact center exposure, telephony and WebRTC experience, and familiarity with React

Ability to leverage AI capabilities (e.g., GenAI-assisted development, automation, and analysis tools) to accelerate solution design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
