An Interior Estimation Engineer is responsible for calculating the cost, quantity of materials, and labour required to complete interior design and fit-out projects.

Key responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial interiors.
Calculate quantities using BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs.
Read and interpret interior layout drawings, elevations, and working drawings.
Estimate materials such as plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers, hardware, glass, paint, and false-ceiling components.
Prepare quotations, cost sheets, and project budgets.
Coordinate with interior designers, vendors, contractors, and site teams.
Compare supplier quotations and negotiate material prices.




Track project costs and identify cost-saving prospects.

Essential skills and software
Software: AutoCAD, MS Excel, SketchUp, and ERP or estimation software.
Technical knowledge: Modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and finishes.
Estimation skills: BOQ preparation, rate analysis, material wastage calculations, and labor costing.
Other skills: Vendor management, attention to detail, and cost control.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
