Job Summary

The Assistant Sub Overseer will support the operations team in overseeing coal production and opencast mining activities. This role requires a proactive individual with a solid background in mining engineering and operations management to ensure efficient and safe mining practices.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of coal production operations.
Monitor daily mining activities to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Collaborate with the team to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Conduct regular inspections of mining equipment and operations.
Provide training and support to junior staff and new team members.
Prepare reports on production metrics and operational performance.

Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of 2 years and up to 10 years of experience in mining operations.
Degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of coal production and opencast mining techniques.




Familiarity with mining safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
