This role involves managing and overseeing legal matters related to debt recovery, handling legal disputes, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of debt recovery processes, legal documentation, and negotiation techniques.
Initiate and manage the debt recovery process, including collection of outstanding payments from clients/customers.
Communicate with debtors to negotiate payment terms and settlement agreements.
Monitor accounts and take appropriate legal steps for delinquent or overdue accounts.
Coordinate with external collection agencies or attorneys, if required.
Draft and review legal documents related to debt recovery, including notices, settlement agreements, and lawsuits.
Resolve legal conflicts through negotiation, settlement, or litigation as required.
Maintain accurate records of all legal proceedings, recovery actions, and communications with debtors.
