The Internal Audit Lead is responsible for overseeing and executing concurrent/ Internal/ Special audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational efficiency. This role involves evaluating risk management frameworks, internal controls, and operational compliance while providing strategic recommendations for process improvements.
Develop and implement a structured Internal audit/ Process Audits/ Concurrent Audits framework in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
Plan, execute, and oversee Internal audit/ Process Audits/ Concurrent Audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes across various business units.
Identify risks, discrepancies, and process inefficiencies, and provide actionable recommendations for risk mitigation and process enhancement.
Monitor key risk indicators and ensure timely reporting of audit findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Prepare detailed audit reports with observations, risk implications, and recommendations for corrective actions.
Provide guidance and mentorship to audit team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
