[] Piping Material Engineer

Job Location: Mumbai Location (India)

Role & Responsibility :
Create and /or develop piping material specification, review client documents, specifications, requirements and its applicable international codes and standards
Raise technical clarifications from licenser, PMC or client.
Create valve material specification reports for bulk valves.
Calculate, verify pipe wall thickness, branch reinforcement pad requirements, and mechanical calculations as required by related codes and standards
Create Special item data sheets and ensure its compliance with client's requirements and international standards.
Create material requisitions for bulk items and special items.
Review and verification of vendor documents.

Should be able to manage the activities within specified schedule.

Education : B.E. / B. Tech (-Mech.) from reputed University/ Institute

Experience :



07 – 12 Years’ experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery/ Petrochemical only in EPC setting

Skills :
Positive knowledge of MS-Excel
Must have used some software for material related functions.
Conversant with latest available piping codes and standards.
Shall be self-motivated to learn
