Manager – GL (Insurance Accounting)
Location: Infopark, Kochi,Kerala
Experience: 10+ years in GL/RTR within Insurance Accounting is Mandatory
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Salary: Up to ₹18 LPA
Shift: 6 PM – 3 AM | Monday–Friday
Reporting To: Assistant Vice President

Mandatory: Relevant Insurance Accounting experience in the Life & Annuity (L&A;) vertical. Candidates with only general GL/RTR experience outside the insurance domain will not be considered.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA/CPA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in GL/RTR, including relevant insurance accounting experience.
Hands-on experience in Life & Annuity (L&A;) insurance accounting is mandatory.
Understanding of insurance accounting standards, including IFRS 17 and applicable local GAAP.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Manager – GL to lead the Record-to-Report (RTR)



function for the Life & Annuity (L&A;) insurance business. The ideal candidate must have solid General Ledger and financial reporting experience within the insurance accounting domain, along with proven expertise in month-end closing, reconciliations, journal entries, and team management.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) and GL operations for the L&A; insurance business.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Coordinate with actuarial, underwriting, claims, and other finance teams.

Lead, mentor, and develop the GL/RTR team.

Pay: Up to ₹150,000.00 per month
