Quality Analyst Location: Bangalore

Job Summary We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer who's hands-on with Playwright and passionate about quality. You'll build automation frameworks, work closely with development and product teams, and help deliver reliable, high-quality software.

What You Will Do
Build and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using Playwright and Cucumber (BDD)
Design, execute, and maintain regression and end-to-end test suites
Automate API tests covering functional, edge-case, and negative scenarios
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Leverage GitHub Copilot or similar AI tools to improve productivity and test coverage
Report defects clearly and collaborate across Development, QA, and Product teams
Contribute to automation best practices and quality initiatives

What We Are Looking For
6+ years of QA Automation experience




Robust hands-on experience with Playwright
Experience with Cucumber (BDD) and automation framework development
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
Solid understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and test automation design patterns
Solid experience in REST API testing
Familiarity with Postman/SoapUI and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT
Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices
Comfortable using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot

Nice to Have
Exposure to WebdriverIO
CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
Test reporting tools: Allure or HTML Reports
Exposure to performance, accessibility, or load testing tools such as JMeter or K6
Basic SQL knowledge
Experience working with cloud-native and microservices-based applications

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
