What we are looking for

Role: PostgreSQL Database Administrator

Experience Range: 5 to 8 Years

Location: Chennai/Hyderabad

Must-Have :
Solid experience administering mission-critical PostgreSQL databases in production and non-production environments.
Hands-on expertise with on-premises PostgreSQL and Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server.
Experience implementing high availability and disaster recovery using streaming replication, logical replication, read replicas, and point-in-time recovery.
Robust knowledge of backup, recovery, monitoring, performance analysis, and database tuning.




Experience managing database security, access controls, and compliance requirements, including SOX and CIS Benchmarks.
Ability to handle incidents, root-cause analysis, operational governance, and production support.
Solid troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Good-to-Have :
Experience using Terraform for database infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID integration and identity-based database access.
Exposure to enterprise backup and recovery tools.

Experience with advanced PostgreSQL monitoring and performance-tuning tools.
