Required Qualifications
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in sheet metal fabrication, automotive components, agricultural machinery, or engineering manufacturing is preferred.

Experience
2–3 years of experience in Purchase / NPD Purchase / Vendor Development.
Relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication and current product development procurement is preferred.

Technical Skills
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, including laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, machining, and surface finishing.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand BOMs.
Knowledge of vendor development, cost negotiation, and supplier evaluation.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel, quotation comparison, and cost analysis.
SAP / ERP knowledge is preferred.
Good communication, coordination, negotiation, and follow-up skills.





Key Responsibilities
Handle purchase activities for Current Product Development (NPD) projects from prototype stage to mass production.
Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for sheet metal components, fabrication parts, machining components, and bought-out items.
Source materials such as MS sheets, CRCA sheets, HR sheets, SS sheets, pipes, tubes, fasteners, and standard hardware.
Coordinate with Design, R&D;, Production, PPC, Quality, and Stores departments to understand material and component requirements.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate costs, and finalize suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery.
Understand engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), specifications, and revision changes.
Procure prototype components, laser-cut parts, CNC-bent components, welded assemblies, machined parts, and other NPD requirements.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
