The Professor in the Department of English at JKKN College of Arts and Science will be responsible for teaching, research, and community engagement. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English, as well as develop and lead research projects that contribute to the advancement of the field.

Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses in English
Conducting research and publishing scholarly work in the field of English




Advising and mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Participating in curriculum development and assessment activities
Engaging with the community through outreach programs and public lectures
Participating in departmental and college-wide committees and activities

Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in English or a related field
Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Active research agenda and a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and academic presses
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of academic life
