Posted 23 Jul 2026 We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer – Anode Casting to oversee the operation and optimization of the copper anode casting section. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and effective production of high-quality copper anodes for electrolytic refining.

Requirements Key Responsibilities
Operate and optimize the anode casting wheel and associated equipment.
Monitor furnace temperatures, molten copper quality, and casting parameters.
Ensure anodes meet dimensional, weight, and quality specifications.
Coordinate furnace charging, skimming, and metal transfer operations.
Monitor cooling systems, mould conditions, and casting cycle times.
Troubleshoot casting defects such as cracks, warpage, pinholes, and uneven thickness.
Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce metal losses.




Coordinate preventive maintenance with the maintenance department.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Maintain production reports, process records, and KPI dashboards.
Support commissioning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
5–10 years of experience in copper smelting, anode casting, or non-ferrous metallurgy.
Solid knowledge of:
Copper anode casting processes
Melting and holding furnaces
Casting wheels and mould maintenance
Molten metal handling
Process control and instrumentation
Experience with SCADA/DCS systems is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
Knowledge of ISO, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
