Banyan Tree School is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher with a Physics background to teach Science and Physics to students from Classes VI to XII and support their academic development, scientific thinking, curiosity, and overall learning.

Essential Requirements
Master’s Degree in Physics / Applied Physics or a relevant Science subject.
Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) / equivalent teaching qualification (Mandatory).
3–5 years of relevant school teaching experience preferred.
Robust knowledge of Physics, Science concepts, experiments, and laboratory practices.
Positive communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct age-appropriate Science classes for Classes VI to XII, with focus on Physics at senior levels.




Explain scientific and Physics concepts through transparent, practical, and engaging teaching methods.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, and assessments.
Conduct and supervise Science/Physics experiments and laboratory activities safely.
Assess students’ understanding, performance, skills, and progress.
Encourage scientific thinking, curiosity, problem-solving, and application of concepts.
Provide academic support and guidance to students as required.
Prepare students for examinations, projects, practicals, and academic competitions.
Maintain attendance, assessment, practical, and academic records.
Work with teachers and school leadership to support students’ overall academic development.
