About the role

Rugged Monitoring builds sensors and monitoring systems for transformers, switchgear and other critical power assets. We're looking for a content marketer who understands technical B2B products and uses AI tools every day to produce high-quality content quickly. This isn't a writing-only job. You'll own content from research through to the leads it brings in.

Research competitors and the market, and turn what you find into messaging and positioning
Write copy for brochures, datasheets, case studies and presentations
Write scripts for product explainer videos
Plan and write LinkedIn and social posts
Use AI tools (Grok, ChatGPT/Claude and others) to research, draft and repurpose content, and check every piece for technical accuracy

Work with product managers and sales to get technical details and customer stories right
Track how content performs (traffic, rankings and leads) and improve it

What we're looking for
3+ years in B2B content marketing, ideally in industrial, electrical, energy or engineering products
Ability to understand technical products and explain them clearly to engineers and buyers
Hands-on daily use of AI writing and research tools, with transparent examples of how you use them
Solid SEO knowledge: keyword research, on-page SEO and E-E-A-T
Excellent written English
Comfortable with WordPress or another CMS. Familiarity with GA4 and Search Console is a plus.
A portfolio of published technical or B2B content

Nice to have
An engineering or science degree, or experience in the power or utilities sector
Experience writing video scripts or case studies
