Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
Build scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration solutions using Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, and Spark.
Develop and optimize Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake-based data architectures.
Implement ETL/ELT frameworks to support enterprise analytics and reporting requirements.
Create and maintain semantic models, datasets, and reporting layers for Power BI consumption.
Perform data modeling, data quality checks, and performance tuning of pipelines and queries.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Data Scientists, and BI teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Implement security, governance, and data access controls across Fabric workspaces.
Support CI/CD, version control, automated deployments, and DataOps best practices.
Monitor and troubleshoot production workloads, ensuring platform reliability and performance.
Participate in Fabric migration and modernization initiatives from legacy data platforms.




Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices and standards

Ideal Candidate
6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Analytics Engineering.
Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric and modern cloud-based data platforms.
Solid experience with:
Microsoft Fabric
OneLake
Lakehouse Architecture
Data Factory Pipelines
Dataflows Gen2
Power BI
Fabric Warehouse
Spark / PySpark
SQL & Python
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and Medallion Architecture.
Experience designing dimensional models and enterprise data warehouses.
Proficiency in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and data quality management.
Experience with Azure ecosystem including ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse, and Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, DataOps, and Agile delivery methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fabric migration and modernization experience will be a solid advantage.

Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)
