Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, monitor project-wise financial performance, control operational expenses, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have robust financial analysis, reconciliation, and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily accounting operations and ensure timely closing.
Monitor project-wise income, expenses, and profitability.
Track client receivables, supplier payables, and outstanding payments.
Monitor monthly operational costs against budgets.
Verify payment requests, approvals, and supporting documents.
Review bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
Identify financial discrepancies and ensure accounting compliance.
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
Provide accurate financial data to management for decision-making.

Requirements




Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
Experience in project costing, expense monitoring, and receivables/payables management.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Solid analytical, organizational, and team management skills.

Key Performance Expectations
100% timely monthly account closing and management reporting.
Accurate project financial and operational cost reports.
Timely identification and escalation of overdue receivables.
Zero unauthorized or duplicate payments.
Accurate reconciliations and minimal unresolved discrepancies.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
