Job Title: Test Engineer

The Test Engineer at Starlink will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing tests for our satellite communication systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability and performance. Your primary focus will be on developing testing strategies, conducting tests, and analyzing results to support the development of high-quality products. You will also participate in troubleshooting and debugging of hardware and software issues.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for satellite communication systems.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test requirements and ensure product functionality meets specifications.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on performance, reliability, and overall product quality.
Identify and document defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.
Automate test processes where possible to improve efficiency and coverage.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on product design from a testing perspective.
Support the continuous improvement of testing practices and tools.





Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in software and hardware testing methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools.
Knowledge of satellite communication technologies and systems is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace.
Robust attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
