Patient Care according to established procedures and policies.
Following protocols – scrubbing and sterilization procedures.
High standard of sterility within the theater – certified by a Microbiologist.
Assisting in preparing operating rooms for surgery
Provide technical assistance to surgeons and anesthetists.
Clean and restock the operating room, arranging instruments, supplies and equipment according to instruction.
Position patients for surgical and/or anesthetic treatments.
Assisting to Shift the patients from the block room to OT table
Connect pulse oxymeter and oxygen tubes.
Assisting the sterile sister as and when needed and entering the operative details in the case sheet.
Special instruction from the doctor should be noted and handed over to the pay ward sister.
Preparation of instruments and autoclave them
